Terms and community guidelines

Last updated 1 November 2026

The short version

Talk about the games as hard as you like, but go after the hurling or the football, not the people. Abuse, hate and threats have no place here: we take them down, and we can stop the accounts behind them from commenting. These terms cover the site and the app, and you agree to them before your first comment.

Who we are

Aon Scór is run by two people in their spare time. It isn't a company, and it isn't connected to the GAA or to any county board. The contact for anything on this page is [email protected].

Community guidelines

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post:

Swearing is filtered out too, so a comment with it won't post. Reword it and try again.

Reporting a comment

Every comment has a Report option in its menu. Reports come straight to us, and we look at them as soon as we reasonably can. For anything urgent, or anything you can't report in the site or app, email [email protected]. You can also block an account from the same menu, so you no longer see its comments.

What happens when the rules are broken

We can take down a comment that breaks these guidelines, whether someone reported it or we came across it ourselves, and we can stop an account from commenting, for a while or for good. A comment that several people report is hidden until we've looked at it. What crosses the line is our call, and we may act without warning.

Your comments

What you write stays yours. By posting it you let us show it on the site and in the app, for as long as it's up. You can edit a comment for 5 minutes after posting it and delete it at any time. If you delete your account, your comments stay but show as Anonymous, with nothing linking them to you. The privacy notice has the detail.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself, and pick a username that follows the guidelines above. You can delete your account at any time from the account page, on the site or in the app.

Scores and stats

We try to get every score right, but they are entered by people and sometimes change after the final whistle. Aon Scór is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be accurate or available.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and you're asked to agree again before your next comment. These terms are governed by Irish law.
